Job description
Who are we?
Tjoapack Netherlands is a pharmaceutical contract packer with approximately 200 employees, providing packaging solutions for multiple segments of the pharmaceutical market. This takes place in a clean production environment located within cleanrooms.
The Engineering team includes a manager, five staff members in day shift, and a maintenance technician on each shift in each of the three shifts. Together, the Engineering team is responsible for optimal availability and reliability of both production machinery, and facility systems. Within this department, we are looking for a full-time colleague to work in the three-shift system.
What will you do?
As an all-round Maintenance Technician working in the three-shift system, your mission is to ensure optimal availability of the production lines and related equipment. While the main focus is on troubleshooting, your shift will also include preventive maintenance and improvement initiatives. The role includes the following responsibilities:
Resolving breakdowns on production lines.
Performing preventive maintenance, inspections, calibrations, and modifications on production (related) equipment.
Responding to urgent malfunctions of facility systems and critical utilities.
Identifying, sharing, and implementing improvement opportunities into tangible results.
Providing constructive support and training with equipment changeover and setup to production staff.
Ensuring your own safety, the safety of others, and patient safety.
Working according to applicable procedures (GMP), including careful documentation of performed work.
What do we offer?
Whether you are an experienced technician or have recently obtained your bachelor’s degree, the role will offer lots of challenges. Together, we will create a personal development plan so that, regardless of your background and ambition, you can enjoy a fulfilling job combined with a promising future.
Tjoapack has a flat organizational structure with short communication lines. Our company is characterized by hard work and the freedom to work independently. If you have good ideas, we are eager to learn about them. For us, the job title is not leading, as we believe everyone shapes their own role and makes it a success.
In addition to a staff association and 30 vacation days, we also have a fun@work team that organizes enjoyable activities for all employees. It is also possible, in consultation, to follow courses for personal development or professional knowledge enhancement.
This is a dynamic position within a relatively small team. Hence, a high degree of independence is expected. There is lots of opportunities for self-development, proactivity and own initiatives. Naturally, you will start with a tailored onboarding program so that you quickly feel at home in your new role and within the organization.
If you're interested in this position, we look forward to receiving your cv and motivation letter!
